Certificate in Nonprofit Fundraising - Overview

WVDO and the PSU's Nonprofit Institute have partnered to offer a program that was previously unavailable in the Willamette Valley, delivering an academic background to support and enhance the real-world knowledge development professionals gain on the job. This program accelerates the learning curve for individuals wanting to grow and expand their fundraising skills - compressing knowledge they would normally gather over several years on the job into a mix of classroom and practicum learning that is complete in less than one year.

Over 9 months, gain an end-to-end understanding of each phase of the fundraising process. From identifying and qualifying donors, through "the ask" and on to stewardship of the relationships for long term support.  Participants graduate as stronger, more impactful professionals for their organization or ready to enter the nonprofit arena for those seeking career transition.

All sessions will be held at PSU's Urban Center Building, 2nd Floor Parsons Gallery, 506 SW Mill St. Portland, OR 97201

A brief presentation will begin at 4pm followed by a Q & A session.
